All wedding events are at our venue, Castell D'Emporda
Where do we stay?
The venue has 57 rooms, so the majority of our guests can stay on site with us! If you decide to stay elsewhere or the rooms have all been booked, there are numerous boutique hotels super close by in La Bisbal D'Emporda or larger hotels in Girona and along Costa Brava. See the "Hotel Booking" page for recommendations.
What parts of the wedding will be outside?
The ceremony will be outside in an olive grove, and cocktail hour and dinner will be outside on a large terrace! In early June, the weather in this part of Spain can range from 59 at night to low-mid 80s in the day.
What is the dress code?
The welcome party dress code is Cocktail and the ceremony and reception dress code is Mediterranean Formal. This is essentially formal dress code but keeping the venue and time of year in mind. For women, floor length dresses and for men suits. Below is a link to a pinterest board with inspo photos, but no need to stick to this!
We only ask that everyone avoid wearing white or cream.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We would love for our guests to be present with us during this special moment. Pease refrain from photoing or videoing the ceremony, we have a photographer and videographer who will do that!
Where is your registry/honeymoon fund?
Our wedding is gift free! We realize how much we are asking of our guests to attend a destination wedding, and we value our loved ones' presence over any gift. For that reason, we do not have a registry. We will have a box for cards if anyone would like to write us a note for our special day!
Can my kids come?
We love your kids, but our wedding is only for those listed on the invitation. If you are planning a family vacation around our wedding, there are many accommodations around Girona which can house the whole family.
Can I bring a plus one?
Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest loved ones.
Are you going anywhere after the Wedding?
We will be spending 2 nights (checkout June 10) on the coast 30 mins from our venue. If anyone wants to join us, we would love that! Please see the Travel tab for more info!
